SPIE Global Services Energy has an opportunity in Qatar for a Maintenance Planning Engineer specializing in instrumentation.
The role is responsible for planning daily maintenance activities and improving equipment reliability through right-first-time execution.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan daily instrumentation maintenance activities and coordinate labor and non-labor resources.
- Anticipate and eliminate potential delays to improve maintenance tool time and work quality.
- Develop systematic, efficient, economical, and forecasted maintenance job plans.
- Independently develop cost and time estimates for planned work to meet budgets and schedules.
- Use SAP maintenance functions for order planning, procurement, service transactions, and maintenance master data.
- Create, update, and delete maintenance-related master data in SAP.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's engineering degree in Instrumentation from a 12+4-year engineering program.
- Ten years of relevant experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industry.
- Hands-on experience with the SAP Enterprise Asset Maintenance work-order component is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA, including order planning and maintenance master data.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
