Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate resolution of technical issues and retain the Completions Technical Lead for engineering-related issues.
- Interface with project engineering and project management teams on major commercial and project management decisions.
- Manage engineering, quality, construction, procurement, and subcontractor project management interfaces.
- Monitor design and fabrication progress of process equipment packages.
- Support planning for mechanical completion and commissioning activities in vendor shops, fabrication yards, and at site.
- Review quality issues, specification deviations, inspection reports, and other critical technical matters.
- Develop FAT testing criteria and ensure equipment testing, documentation, and punch list items are fully recorded.
- Lead development of site performance test procedures and criteria.
- Participate in project systems completion schedules and systems completion workshops.
- Generate step-by-step dynamic commissioning procedures for allocated systems.
- Manage commissioning and start-up spares, first fills, special tools, and equipment for timely site availability.
- Provide technical oversight through fabrication, mechanical completion, commissioning, systems completion, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Commissioning Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10–15+ years of commissioning, start-up, and mechanical completion experience on major EPC, energy, petrochemical, LNG, or power projects.
- Offshore experience is mandatory.
- ADNOC experience is preferred.
