Position Overview
Raw Material Planner – Manufacturing/Industrial.
The role supports a manufacturer and trader of paints, coatings, resins, adhesives, and construction chemicals operating across multiple regions.
Employment and Compensation
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Salary: Up to AED 5,000 inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Location
- Umm Al Quwain, UAE.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan raw material requirements using production plans, forecasts, inventory, safety stock, MOQ, and supplier lead times.
- Identify shortages, monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments, and coordinate timely deliveries.
- Monitor excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and near-expiry materials to optimize inventory.
- Maintain planning parameters and ERP master data.
- Produce shortage, availability, and inventory reports for management decisions and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least three years of material planning or MRP experience.
- Experience in paint, chemical, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory control, BOM, and production planning.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
