Raw Material Planner role supporting chemical, paint, and coatings manufacturing.
The role focuses on material requirements, supply availability, inventory optimization, and planning data accuracy.
Compensation
- Salary is up to AED 9,000 inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Location
- The job location is Umm Al Quwain, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Plan raw material requirements using production plans, demand forecasts, MRP, inventory levels, safety stock, MOQ, and supplier lead times.
- Identify shortages and supply risks, monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments, and coordinate deliveries with Procurement and suppliers.
- Monitor excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and near-expiry materials while maintaining planning parameters and ERP master data.
- Prepare shortage, availability, and inventory reports to support management decisions and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in material planning or MRP, preferably in paint, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory control, BOM, and production planning.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
