Role Overview
Quantity Surveyor role supporting the Contract & Procurement Department.
The position provides functional leadership for estimating and quantity surveying activities after contract award.
The role is a renewable contract position with an initial duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process consultant and contractor variations under the contract.
- Administer variations under the client’s change management procedures.
- Review insurance documents and bank guarantees for contractual compliance.
- Review extension-of-time and prolongation cost claims.
- Prepare payment certificates and payment valuations.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, cashflow reports, and accruals.
- Close out final accounts and prepare final payment certificates.
- Release bank guarantees as part of final account close-out.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum five years of relevant experience with a consultant, developer, contractor, or combination of these organizations.
- A graduate degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Strong command of English and strong communication skills are required.
