Role Overview
Lead testing and cutover for an SAP S/4HANA implementation within a digital transformation team.
The role supports a large-scale ERP transformation for a leading semi-government entity in the UAE.
This is a long-term contract with an initial duration of 18 months and potential renewal.
Key Responsibilities
- Own planning and coordination of testing across the SAP program lifecycle.
- Drive unit, SIT, UAT, regression, performance, and automation testing activities.
- Coordinate external partners, testing tools, templates, documentation, scripts, and test data.
- Lead cutover planning, mock cutovers, final execution, governance, rollback planning, and success measurement.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and handover to operational support teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 8 years of hands-on SAP implementation experience, including three full-cycle S/4HANA projects.
- Experience overseeing testing and cutover tracks in large-scale SAP transformations.
- Strong understanding of automation, performance, smoke, regression, SIT, and UAT testing.
- Strong SAP functional knowledge and familiarity with OTC, P2P, and RTR process flows.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Excel, and MS Project.
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and escalations under complex delivery conditions.
Preferred Certifications
- SAP S/4HANA Testing or Project Management certification is highly desirable.
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing qualification is desirable.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate and hybrid or agile delivery environments is preferred.
Availability and Location
- Candidates are expected to work in the United Arab Emirates.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
