Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to work in Dubai on construction, interior fit-out, and joinery projects.
The role works with project managers, site engineers, design, procurement, subcontractor, and supplier teams to monitor and control project costs while meeting contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from architectural, structural, MEP, joinery, and fit-out drawings.
- Review drawings and specifications to verify quantities and identify scope discrepancies.
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analyses, and tender pricing.
- Obtain, compare, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost forecasts.
- Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and cost breakdowns.
- Measure completed works and prepare progress valuations and payment applications.
- Review subcontractor measurements, valuations, and payment claims.
- Coordinate with project, site, procurement, supplier, and subcontractor teams on quantities and costs.
- Maintain records of project quantities, costs, variations, and commercial documentation.
