Bakery Chef role for a premium all-day dining and coffee concept in North Africa.
The role oversees daily bakery production and focuses on quality, consistency, and product innovation.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is based in North Africa and requires relocation.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breads, viennoiseries, pastries, and other bakery products.
- Use artisan and modern techniques including sourdough, fermentation, dough preparation, shaping, and baking.
- Manage daily production and maintain quality, taste, texture, presentation, and portion control.
- Develop new products and concepts aligned with trends and guest preferences.
- Follow recipes, quality standards, food safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
- Control ingredient usage, costs, waste, and storage.
- Coordinate with culinary and pastry teams and support recipe costing and standardization.
- Train junior bakery team members and contribute ideas to improve the bakery offering.
Requirements
- Culinary Arts or Bakery/Pastry Arts degree, diploma, or equivalent recognized certification.
- 4–5 years of hands-on bakery experience in a high-volume bakery, hotel, fine-dining restaurant, café, or all-day dining environment.
- Proven Bakery Chef or similar bakery-focused experience.
- Strong knowledge of artisan breads, sourdough, fermentation, viennoiseries, and modern baking techniques.
- Strong food safety, hygiene, communication, teamwork, and fast-paced working skills.
- English communication is required; Arabic and international hospitality experience are advantageous.
Compensation
- Compensation is listed as AED 3,000 per month, with an attractive compensation package also referenced.
