Role Overview
The role is a Junior Chef de Partie in an all-day dining and coffee concept in North Africa.
The position supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in operating an assigned kitchen section.
The role is responsible for food quality, consistency, hygiene, presentation, and professional kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to approved recipes, standards, specifications, and plating methods.
- Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee-related preparation while maintaining quality and portion control.
- Handle, store, label, and rotate products and help receive and check deliveries.
- Maintain a clean workstation, follow HACCP and safety procedures, monitor stock, and reduce waste.
- Work with kitchen colleagues to provide efficient service and support training of Commis Chefs and trainees.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef and continue learning new techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant in a similar role.
- Experience in all-day dining, hotels, restaurants, cafés, or high-volume food and beverage operations is preferred.
