Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong main contractor background.
The role supports commercial and residential building projects and covers commercial and contractual management.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of quantity surveying experience within reputable main contracting companies.
- Proven track record working on large-scale commercial and residential projects.
Required Expertise
- Cost planning, cost control, quantity take-offs, and measurement.
- Variations, claims, change management, subcontractor procurement, and subcontractor management.
- Contract administration, interim valuations, and final accounts.
- FIDIC contracts and construction commercial practices.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and project financial reporting.
- Microsoft Excel and standard quantity surveying software.
- Negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects.
- Prepare and evaluate tender and subcontract packages.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budget compliance.
- Assess and process subcontractor payments and variations.
- Prepare commercial reports and financial forecasts.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure timely agreement of variations, claims, and final accounts.
Preferred Profile
- UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with renowned main contracting companies is preferred.
- Exposure to high-value mixed-use, commercial, residential, or hospitality developments is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities are preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
