Dutco Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer.
The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background and experience in MEP temporary works estimation within construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for MEP temporary works.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
- Evaluate temporary works solutions and provide technical input during tendering.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Ensure estimates comply with project requirements and company standards.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience in MEP estimation, preferably involving site temporary works.
- Strong understanding of temporary works design and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to review and interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary internal teams.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
