Role Overview

Leadership and People Management

• Uphold company values and foster accountability, innovation, excellence, collaboration, and open communication.
• Set performance expectations, monitor progress, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, learning, and development for team members.

Contract and Procurement Management

• Develop, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead procurement for materials, services, and subcontractors while evaluating vendors and negotiating favorable terms.
• Manage claims, disputes, variations, and contractual risks with support from legal teams.

Project Commercial Duties

• Lead client engagement and oversee cost and contracts teams across a portfolio of projects.
• Develop commercial strategies and manage project lifecycles to support profitability.
• Review subcontractor payment applications and invoices and secure approval for scope changes.

Compliance and Deliverables

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, regulations, QHSE policies, and project delivery systems.
• Submit documents, reports, data, scorecards, and supporting KPI documentation accurately and on time.
• Use project resources efficiently and maintain confidentiality of employee and business information.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive commercial management experience in construction.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects in the UAE and negotiating contracts with key stakeholders.
• Advanced degrees or MRICS or CIPS certifications are advantageous.

Required Skills

• Contract management, procurement, construction contracts, financial analysis, reporting, negotiation, and contract drafting.
• Knowledge of FIDIC, UAE construction regulations, commercial software, and project management software.
• Leadership, communication, interpersonal, decision-making, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
