Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for all MEP activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure work is performed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant industry standards.
• Review and approve MEP material submittals, technical data sheets, and shop drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Manage and document all MEP-related inspections, tests, and commissioning processes.
• Identify, document, and track non-conformances (NCRs), and work with the project team to ensure timely and effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the project management team on all quality-related matters to ensure clear communication and resolution of issues.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and handover documents.
• Witness factory and site acceptance tests for MEP equipment and systems.
• Promote a strong quality culture among all site personnel and subcontractors.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a QA/QC role focused on MEP systems for large-scale construction projects, such as hospitals, commercial centres, or industrial facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of international MEP codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, BS Standards).
• Strong experience in reviewing technical submittals, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in conducting site inspections, quality audits, and managing non-conformance reports.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
