Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mechanical quality assurance and quality control plans, procedures, and checklists for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other building services systems
- Perform inspections of mechanical installations
- Review drawings and specifications
- Monitor work against project standards and document non conformities with corrective actions
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and client requirements
- Prepare QA/QC reports and support commissioning activities
Requirements
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, particularly in building services and high rise construction
- Experience in Inspection and QA/QC processes for mechanical systems in construction projects
- Maintenance related skills for mechanical equipment and building services systems
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and interpreting mechanical drawings
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable in the UAE and GCC
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Prior experience in high rise building construction or contracting environments in a QA/QC mechanical role

Daily Responsibilities
- Performing inspections of mechanical installations
- Reviewing drawings and specifications

Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge, particularly in building services and high rise construction
- Experience in Inspection and QA/QC processes for mechanical systems in construction projects
- Maintenance related skills for mechanical equipment and building services systems
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and interpreting mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with Mechanical systems relevant to Automotive or related industrial applications (beneficial but not mandatory)
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable in the UAE and GCC
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on site
- Prior experience in high rise building construction or contracting environments in a QA/QC mechanical role
