Role overview
QA Automation Tester role for a partner company, based remotely in India.
The role focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality software through modern test automation.
The tester will work with Agile teams and CI/CD-driven delivery processes.
Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Build and enhance hybrid automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across web applications.
- Automate REST and SOAP API tests and create stable, maintainable web-element locators.
- Track defects with JIRA and TestRail, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on resolution.
- Produce test reports and quality metrics while staying current with continuous-testing practices.
Requirements
- 3–9 years of software testing and quality assurance experience focused on test automation.
- Strong hands-on Selenium WebDriver and Java experience.
- Experience with hybrid frameworks, TestNG, Maven, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Page Object Model, Page Factory, data-driven testing, and complex web-element locators.
