- Conducts psychiatric interviews and collects data for diagnostic purposes
- Provides various psychotherapies, including individual, group and family therapies
- Offers counseling for couples with marital conflicts
- Uses behavioral methods for the treatment of children and adults and plans the frequency, intensity and duration of therapy
- Performs psychometric (mental measuring) testing for diagnosis and evaluation of therapy
- Engages in research and educational activities that will improve methods and techniques for the management of emotionally disturbed patients
- Keeps current with ideas in the fields of personality development and adjustment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental disorders
- Provides advice to community organizations and participates in related psychological and welfare activities
- Takes after hours or weekend calls as required by specific cases or in emergency situations as requested
- Performs related duties as assigned by the Head of Department
- Follows appropriate international guidelines, HAAD regulations and Joint Commission International norms
- Complies with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and procedures
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized college or university
- At least 2 years' experience in the field of clinical psychology
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical ethics with regard to the obligation to maintain work confidentiality
- Working knowledge of intelligence, achievement, interest, personality and other psychological tests and measuring devices
- Current licensure in country of origin and with HAAD license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co workers, superiors, patients and families

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized college or university.
- At least with 2 years' experience in the field of clinical psychology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical ethics with regard to the obligation to maintain work confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of intelligence, achievement, interest, personality and other psychological tests and measuring devices.
- Current licensure in country of origin and with HAAD license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co workers, superiors, patients and families.
