Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Perform duties of an endocrinologist in accordance with delineation of privileges
- Evaluate patients with hormonal diseases in the Endocrinology Clinic
- Provide after hours on call emergency coverage for endocrinology emergencies
- Perform endocrinal procedures dynamic hormonal tests
- Provide consultation/referral services to inpatient services
- Supervise and educate staff nurses, patients and technicians
- Participate in quality assurance activities (mortality and morbidity conference, peer review, audit, chart review)
- Order diagnostic laboratory studies and X ray examinations, determine diagnosis and prescribe therapy
Requirements
- At least 3 5 years post qualification experience at Specialist level
- At least 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by UAE healthcare regulator
- Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP)
- Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration

- Perform professional duties of an endocrinologist in accordance with delineation of privileges.
- Evaluate patients with hormonal diseases in the Endocrinology Clinic.
- Provide after working hours on call emergency coverage for endocrinology emergencies.
- Perform endocrinal procedures dynamic hormonal tests.
- Provide consultation/referral services to inpatient services.
- Work with patients throughout the entire process from consultation to treatment plan.
Requirements
- At least 3 5 years post qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country).
- At least 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
- Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognised by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
- Certification and registration in a speciality recognised by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
- Active and valid life support certification (e.g. BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
- Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration (e.g. Membership from Royal College / Arab Board Certification / MS / DM / MPhil or equivalent).
