Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead and manage all site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the construction work.
• Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures on-site.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide regular updates on construction progress and resolve any on-site conflicts.
• Ensure all construction documentation is complete and in compliance with project requirements.
• Identify potential risks to project delivery and implement mitigation strategies.
• Address any technical or logistical issues promptly.

Qualifications, Key Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / civil engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management of large scale renewables Project with at least the latest 4 years in BESS projects.
• Experience in managing end to end construction of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects (minimum capacity of 300 MWh), Prior experience in leading international projects is desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, BESS technologies, and grid integration
• Strong expertise in BESS systems, including civil, electrical, and mechanical aspects of construction.
• Solid understanding of EPC project workflows in renewable energy projects. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international safety and quality standards. Project management, direct execution, communication, drafting skills, HSE & QC awareness & knowledge.
