- Identify and acquire new clients to expand the company’s general insurance portfolio
- Generate business opportunities through networking and market outreach
- Develop and manage client portfolios to ensure long term business growth
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through effective promotion of general insurance products
- Drive revenue through cross selling and up selling opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance industry
- Strong experience in General Insurance is mandatory
- Experience working in the insurance broker industry is preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred
- Self motivated, target driven, and customer focused professional

Role Overview
- Business Development Manager – General Insurance in Dubai, UAE.
- We are hiring a dynamic and results driven BDM with experience in the insurance brokerage industry, specifically in general insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Portfolio Development: Identify and acquire new clients; generate business opportunities through networking; develop and manage client portfolios.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets; drive revenue through cross selling and up selling; build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long term client relationships; understand client requirements; ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends; support business development strategies; coordinate with internal teams.
