Job Purpose and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement different strategies to ensure the growth of the assigned brands.
  • Execute aggressive plans by working closely in association with sales to market the new products.
  • Identify the potential customers and vendors and try to build strong relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Complete coordination for operational activities with respect to intra company transfers of products within the organization.

Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors related to IT distribution for the UAE market.
  • Margin approvals for designated products in consultation with the Business Team.

Product Management

  • Proactively update the business team with ageing stocks.
  • Make data driven decisions regarding product enhancements, pricing strategies, and promotional activities in the UAE.
  • Develop and recommend pricing strategies for IT distribution in the UAE to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Monitor product margins and identify opportunities for optimization in the UAE market.
  • Quarterly submission of vendor claims, ensuring the money is paid to the retailers timely.

Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports on product performance, market trends, and competitive activities in the UAE for the Business Unit Head.
  • Analyze data to identify key insights and make recommendations for product growth and improvement in the UAE market.
  • Identify the present as well as the future opportunities that exist for their product line.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in product management, preferably from the distribution industry and with experience in the UAE market.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment.
