- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects
- Monitor project schedules and ensure activities are delivered in line with approved timelines
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and internal departments
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance
- Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and material approvals
- Assist with tender evaluations and contractor selection
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations
- Ensure construction works meet quality standards and project specifications
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final inspections for project handover
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 7 years of experience in construction project management, fit out, or building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and construction standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage
- LEED Accreditation or sustainability certification is desirable

Position Overview
- The Project Engineer supports planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of construction and fit out projects.
- Ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure activities are delivered in line with approved timelines.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship, and compliance.
- Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and material approvals.
- Resolve technical issues in coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, health & safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Assist with tender evaluations and contractor selection.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations.
- Review progress claims, variations, and change requests.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
- LEED Accreditation or sustainability certification is desirable.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction project management, fit out, or building projects.
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multiple stakeholders.
- UAE project experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
