Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hostess or Guest Service Agent in a restaurant or hotel environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance with a welcoming and confident personality
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Fluency in English required
- Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods

Purpose and Scope of Position
- The Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience.
- She is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating table seating, and supporting the overall service operations.
- The Hostess ensures service excellence and maintains the standards of a premium restaurant in Dubai’s competitive hospitality scene.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously.
- Provide guests with accurate information regarding menu items, promotions, and restaurant services.
- Manage reservations via phone, walk ins, email, or reservation systems.
- Maintain and update the seating chart and ensure organized table allocation.
- Monitor table turnover to maximize seating efficiency.
- Coordinate with supervisors and waitstaff to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Ensure the hostess desk, entrance area, and menus are always clean and presentable.
- Assist service staff with basic tasks during peak hours, ensuring seamless operations.
- Communicate important guest details such as allergies, celebrations, or preferences to the team.
- Support the Restaurant Manager during daily briefings and service preparations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Hostess or Guest Service Agent in a restaurant or hotel environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance with a welcoming and confident personality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
- Knowledge of reservation systems (OpenTable, SevenRooms, ResDiary, etc.) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, or French are a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
