About the Role
SMART HARMONY seeks a Procurement Officer to source and procure materials, furniture, and equipment for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of procurement experience in interior design, fit-out, or construction, strong knowledge of construction materials, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and subcontractor services required for interior fit out projects
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and best value
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers
- Prepare purchase requests, purchase orders (POs), and procurement documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site engineers to understand project material requirements and timelines
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites to avoid delays
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment where applicable
- Track purchase orders from issuance through delivery and resolve any supply issues
- Verify materials received against purchase orders and specifications
- Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements
- Develop cost saving procurement strategies without compromising quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in interior design, fit out, construction, or MEP projects
- Strong knowledge of construction and interior finishing materials
- Experience with supplier negotiations and contract management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to read technical drawings, BOQs, and material specifications
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
