Role Description

  • This is a full time, on site role for a Procurement Logistics Specialist based in Abu Dhabi.
  • The Procurement Logistics Specialist will manage end to end procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • The role involves planning and overseeing logistics operations, tracking shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and resolving delivery or inventory discrepancies.
  • The specialist will analyze supply chain data, optimize costs, support vendor performance evaluation, and maintain compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Daily responsibilities also include maintaining clear communication across departments to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth operational flow.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Purchase Orders and related procurement documentation, with experience in vendor coordination and order tracking.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills for data interpretation, cost analysis, and process optimization within procurement and logistics operations.
  • Hands on experience in Logistics Management, including shipment planning, inventory coordination, and documentation control.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, such as demand planning, sourcing, and workflow integration.
  • Effective Communication skills for working with suppliers, internal teams, and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems, and solid skills in MS Office (especially Excel) for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and compliance in a fast paced environment.
