Position Overview
The partner company is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, Program Structure based in Canada.
This is a high-impact technical leadership role defining the architectural foundation for complex enterprise organizations.
The role owns the design and multi-quarter evolution of an enterprise organizational model across the broader platform.
Accountabilities
- Own architecture, technical direction, and delivery for hierarchical product lines, business units, isolated data access, workflows, scoped approvals, and regional data residency.
- Define durable platform abstractions for diverse and conflicting enterprise requirements.
- Lead migration of a live production platform toward a multi-tenant organizational structure without disrupting existing customers.
- Balance long-term architecture with near-term customer value through phased milestones.
- Drive alignment across engineering squads through technical credibility and communication rather than formal authority.
- Translate strategic architecture objectives into practical initiatives with Engineering, Product, and Design.
- Establish technical standards, architectural patterns, and engineering practices.
- Engage enterprise customers and stakeholders to create scalable platform solutions.
