Role Description
The Primary Teacher role is full-time and on-site in Doha, Qatar.
The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for primary-age students.
The role follows the school curriculum and learning objectives.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and teach core subjects.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through meetings and reports.
School Community Duties
- Work with colleagues on curriculum development.
- Participate in school events and professional development.
- Contribute to a supportive school community.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in teaching, elementary education, and education, with experience working with primary-age learners.
- Curriculum development skills, including unit planning, learning-outcome alignment, and adapting materials for different levels.
- Excellent communication skills for a multicultural school environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
- A teaching license or certification is preferred.
- International or bilingual school experience is an advantage.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom supporting diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
- Commitment to professional development and collaboration within a team-focused school culture.
