Role Description
Full-time, on-site Art Teacher position based in Doha, Qatar.
Plan and deliver engaging visual arts lessons aligned with school curriculum and learning objectives.
Support students' development in drawing, painting, and other visual arts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson materials, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and contribute to exhibitions or art showcases.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Integrate technology and contemporary art practices to support diverse learning styles.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and art education skills for engaging students of varying ages and levels.
- Experience in lesson planning and visual arts curriculum development.
- Proficiency in painting and other core art techniques.
- Relevant degree or certification in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Previous classroom teaching experience, ideally in an international or multicultural school setting.
- Effective classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
