Role Description
Full-time, on-site Primary Mathematics Teacher position based in Doha, Qatar.
The role is within an international school setting and serves primary-grade learners.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum and learning objectives.
- Prepare lesson plans and learning materials for primary mathematics.
- Teach mathematics concepts clearly and assess student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Collaborate on curriculum development and participate in school meetings and professional development.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student performance and well-being.
- Maintain an inclusive, safe classroom that encourages a positive attitude toward mathematics.
Qualifications
- Strong Mathematics and Mathematics Education knowledge suitable for primary learners.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for primary mathematics.
- Qualified teacher status with recognized credentials or licensure.
- Proven primary school classroom teaching experience; international or bilingual experience is preferred.
- Ability to design inclusive activities and differentiate instruction.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
- Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
- Willingness to pursue professional development and adapt to Doha’s cultural context.
