Role Description
This is a full-time, onsite Primary Math Teacher position based in Doha, Qatar.
The teacher will deliver engaging mathematics lessons to primary-level students using age-appropriate methods and curriculum-aligned resources.
The role supports foundational numeracy, problem-solving, inclusive learning, and student well-being.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare mathematics lessons for primary-level learners.
- Deliver engaging lessons using age-appropriate methods and resources aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs.
- Use formative and summative assessment and integrate educational technology.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and build foundational numeracy skills.
School Community Duties
- Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum initiatives.
- Communicate with families about student progress.
- Contribute to school-wide activities.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and mathematics education.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for primary-level learners.
- Qualified-teacher status with relevant teaching credentials and classroom experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Advanced qualifications are an asset.
- International or multicultural school experience is preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education.
