The Primary School Teacher will teach elementary-level students at an international school in Doha, Qatar.
The role is full-time and on-site, with regular attendance during the school week.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Follow the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess student progress and maintain classroom management.
- Provide individualized support to diverse learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in teaching, elementary education, and education.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, standards alignment, and assessment.
- Excellent communication skills in a multicultural school community.
- Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Prior primary or elementary school teaching experience is required.
- International or bilingual school experience is preferred.
- Ability to adapt methods to diverse learning styles and use basic educational technology.
- Commitment to professional development, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
