The Art Teacher role is full-time and on-site in Doha, Qatar.
The position is based in an international school environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging art lessons.
- Introduce learners to various artistic techniques and mediums.
- Plan instruction aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Prepare materials and resources.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Support diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leadership on cross-curricular activities and events.
- Organize student exhibitions.
- Participate in staff meetings and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated teaching and art education experience is required.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Education, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in international or multicultural school settings is advantageous.
Required skills
- Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
- Proficiency in painting and other visual art techniques.
- Classroom management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Location and workplace
- The role is on-site in Doha, Qatar.
- The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Doha and comply with local employment and visa requirements.
