This is a full-time, on-site Physics Teacher role based in Doha, Qatar.
The teacher will deliver engaging physics instruction and support students with different learning styles.
Responsibilities
- Plan lessons and use varied instructional methods to explain complex physics concepts.
- Teach physics classes and support students through extra-help sessions.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate grade and attendance records.
- Contribute to curriculum development and participate in school meetings and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive learning environment.
- Uphold school policies, foster classroom discipline, and encourage interest in physics and related fields.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics and Physics Education.
- Skills in lesson planning and effective teaching practices.
- Solid foundation in Mathematics to support physics instruction.
- Relevant teaching certification or licensure.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching physics at middle or high school level is preferred, particularly in international or bilingual school settings.
- Ability to use educational technology, create inclusive classrooms, and differentiate instruction.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Work arrangement
- The position is full-time and requires on-site work in Doha, Qatar.
