About the Role

Responsibilities
- Be an ambassador for the Hoppi brand; ensure every visitor's experience meets or exceeds expectations
- Provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting visitors to the building and informing them of exhibits areas and programs
- Contribute to a positive, team based, and visitor first centric culture
- Wear the mascot costume on special occasions
- Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities
- Lead themed birthday parties for kids and wear costumes that match the themes
- Collect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestions
- Follow and perform daily opening/closing protocols including routine cleaning, restocking, and preparation of program materials
- Participate in training programs designed to enhance interaction with visitors
- Lead field trips and interact with teachers and students in an age level appropriate manner
- Work as a team to ensure the entire building is highly presentable
- Provide a safe environment for all visitors, specifically for children
Requirements
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Advanced course work or experience in customer service, family learning, or retail operations preferred
- Experience working with young children (ages 1 10) and their families in recreational settings, after school programs or classroom is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, adults, and large groups
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors

Position Overview
- Play Facilitator at Hoppi, a new play destination for families in Abu Dhabi, designed for children aged 2–8.
- Imaginators are responsible for fulfilling Hoppi's vision of creating awesome experiences and memories for children.
Visitors Experience and Service
- Be an ambassador for the Hoppi brand; ensure every visitor's experience meets or exceeds expectations
- Provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting them to the building and informing them of exhibits areas and programs
- Contribute to a positive, team based, and visitor first centric culture
- Wear the mascot costume on special occasions
- Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities
- Lead our themed birthday parties for kids and wear costumes that match the themes
- Collect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestions
- Follow and perform the daily opening/closing protocols and procedures including routine cleaning, restocking, and preparation of program materials
Exhibits area / Education
- Have an honest and comprehensive understanding of Hoppi's philosophy and developmental, pedagogical, and other learning objectives
- Participate in training programs designed to enhance interaction with visitors in the Hoppi manner
- Lead field trips and interact with teachers and students in an age level appropriate manner
- Work as a team to ensure that the entire building is highly presentable
Safety / Security
- Provide a safe environment for all visitors, specifically for the children
- Assist visitors in case of an incident or an emergency situation
- Take ownership of the safety of the facility and report and follow up on any repairs or changes needed
- Attend training and be prepared to perform emergency procedures during Hoppi's hours of operation
Essential Requirements
- Able to work weekends and public holidays.
- Advanced course work or experience in customer service, family learning, or retail operations preferred.
- Experience working with young children (ages 1 10) and their families in recreational settings, after school programs or classroom is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, adults, and large groups.
- Proficiency in English is a must. Proficiency in other languages (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors.
