Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer or Project Planner for a mission-critical construction project in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports timely delivery of complex structural and building works through project scheduling, monitoring, and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and schedule risks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend recovery plans when required.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for schedule updates.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress.
- Prepare look-ahead programmes and support management with planning and reporting.
- Assist with delay analysis, extensions of time, and recovery programmes.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong experience as a Planning Engineer or Project Planner on major construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Experience planning and monitoring complex building, structural, or mission-critical projects.
