Role overview
Manage complex payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and issue resolution.

Support colleagues and act as an escalation point for urgent payroll issues.
Accountabilities
- Manage payroll exceptions, adjustments, garnishments, deductions, levies, reconciliations, and other complex matters.
- Perform payroll data entry and validation and resolve processing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, tax requirements, statutory regulations, and local practices.
- Partner with internal teams, providers, vendors, employees, and clients to resolve issues.
- Support implementations, system updates, statutory changes, rollouts, and system testing.
- Improve processes, documentation, controls, workflows, automation, and technology adoption.
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs and support other payroll specialists and administrators.
- Handle confidential information and provide escalation and backup support to the Payroll Manager.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional payroll experience, preferably in a payroll service provider or similar multi-client environment.
