Job Summary

  • The Partner Manager is assigned to several partners and is responsible for driving sales of NetApp's products and services across the region.
  • Meets sales goals and promotes a preference for NetApp among partners through effective strategy and execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a multi year sales strategy and business plan for Partner accounts, ensuring alignment with NetApp's objectives.
  • Translate company strategy into actionable plans to drive bookings against quota and achieve on time renewals.
  • Manage executive engagement between Distributors, Partners and the NetApp sales organization.
  • Collaborate with account sales teams and Partners to create and execute joint pursuits.
  • Influence Partner preference towards NetApp, increasing penetration and Share Of Wallet.
  • Implement continuous Installed Base expansion and retention strategies.
  • Drive Partner forecast accuracy and overall health.
  • Responsible for Partner account(s) performance, coordinating tactical activities to support bookings.
  • Collaborate with Partner’s and NetApp Commercial team to develop Partner Driven Commercial business.
  • Coordinate marketing planning and activities to support growth initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate at many levels within Distributor and Partner companies' organization.
  • Aptitude to negotiate and resolve complex situations/opportunities to a positive outcome without damaging relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Tactical skills to build a network outside to support business needs.
  • Good understanding of and network within the industry ecosystem (Partners, competition etc.).
