OutSystems Developer, Senior Tech Lead

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor OutSystems developers through code reviews, development standards, and best-practice guidance.
• Design scalable OutSystems Reactive Web and Mobile applications using 4-Layer Architecture principles.
• Architect integrations with external systems, databases, REST and SOAP APIs, Creatio CRM, and .NET backends.
• Oversee technical delivery, code quality, performance optimization, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UI/UX designers on technical specifications and estimates.
• Resolve technical blockers, performance bottlenecks, and critical production issues.
• Implement access control, data encryption, and OWASP Top 10 mitigation within the OutSystems ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of software development experience, including 4 or more years building enterprise applications with OutSystems.
• Experience leading technical teams or acting as a Tech Lead or Architect in an Agile environment.
• Expert knowledge of OutSystems tools, architecture patterns, refactoring, and database modeling.
• Strong SQL Server or Oracle database design, stored procedure, and optimization skills.
• Good knowledge of .NET and C# for creating custom extensions.
• Understanding of Scrum and experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, mentoring, and communication skills.

Technical Skills

• OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service Center, and LifeTime.
• REST and SOAP integrations, enterprise platforms, and .NET backends.
• Access control, data encryption, and OWASP Top 10 security mitigation.
