About the Role
ADNOC Distribution is seeking a Fuelling Operator to perform safe and timely refuelling/de-fuelling of aircraft at Abu Dhabi airport. Responsibilities include operating refuelling vehicles, quality checks, equipment maintenance, and HSE compliance.

Responsibilities
- Refuel and defuel customer aircrafts according to assigned schedule and company standards
- Check refuelling vehicle for defects before proceeding to aircraft
- Drive to apron following speed limits, position vehicle, connect bonding hoses
- Perform product visual checks and quality control during fuelling
- Complete documentation and obtain customer signature
- Carry out daily/weekly/monthly serviceability checks of fuelling equipment
- Participate in HSE campaigns and emergency drills
- Respond to fire or accident alarms and operate fire fighting equipment
Requirements
- Secondary/high school certificate
- 3 years of experience as a fuelling operator
- UAE valid manual heavy duty driving license
- UAE valid light duty driving license (preferably manual)
- Valid forklift license (as per site requirement)

Job Purpose
- Performs safe and timely refuelling/de fuelling of aircraft in compliance with aviation standards and ADNOC requirements.
Fuelling Operations
- Refuel and defuel customer aircrafts as per assigned schedule.
- Check refuelling vehicle before proceeding to aircraft.
- Drive to apron, position vehicle, connect bonding hoses.
- Ensure hoses and nozzle are secured per standards.
- Complete documentation and obtain customer signature.
- Keep constant vigil on fuelling process and surroundings.
Refuelling with Refueller Vehicle
- Check available quantity in refueller and drive following safety rules.
- Position refueller safely and connect fuelling equipment.
- Verify fuel requirement with aircraft technician/pilot.
- Complete delivery ticket process via car PC or manual ticket.
- Disconnect equipment and verify all hoses are in place.
- Load refueller vehicle when required.
Perform Defueling
- Position refueller safely and verify flight details.
- Take sample from aircraft tank and perform quality control check.
- Connect fuelling equipment per operating manual.
- Verify defuel requirement with technician/pilot.
- Stop defueling based on refueller capacity and technician advice.
- Complete delivery ticket and inform supervisor.
HSE
- Follow emergency plans and evacuation procedures.
- Participate in HSE campaigns and training.
- Ensure full compliance to PPE and safety regulations.
- Report incidents and near misses immediately.
- Participate in emergency drills.
Fire Fighting Operations
- Carry out regular rounds to ensure fire equipment is workable.
- Inspect, clean, and test fire fighting apparatus.
- Respond to fire or accident alarms and start firefighting.
Product Quality
- Take regular fuel samples before, during, and after refuelling.
- Perform quality checks on fixed/mobile equipment as assigned.
Equipment Maintenance
- Carry out daily/weekly/monthly serviceability checks of fuelling equipment.
- Perform manual tasks like pit cleaning, hose pulling, replenishing refuellers.
- Top up gas oil on mobile units as needed.
- Report defects and problems to shift supervisor.
Customer Support
- Help and support customers when needed.
- Guide customers to safe practices and report concerns to shift.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Secondary/high school certificate.
- 3 years of experience as fuelling operator.
- UAE valid manual heavy duty driving license.
- UAE valid light duty driving license (preferably manual).
- Valid forklift license (as per site requirement).
