The role ensures high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, efficient staffing, and effective communication between medical teams, patients, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Monitor patient care standards and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with doctors, departments, and hospital administration
- Manage budgets, supplies, and staffing resources
- Conduct staff training, mentoring, and professional development
- Handle patient concerns and resolve workplace issues
- Maintain accurate medical and operational records
- Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- Valid nursing license/registration
- Proven experience in clinical nursing and leadership roles
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient safety standards
- Ability to manage teams in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Certification in healthcare management is an advantage
