Responsibilities
- Represent the affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) and therapeutic area(s)
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge for assigned product(s)/therapeutic area(s)
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with External Experts (EEs)
- Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals
- Provide medical/scientific input into marketing strategy and key commercial initiatives
- Design and implement clinical research projects (Phase IV, post marketing studies)
- Review and prepare promotional/non promotional material for medical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PharmB, MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred; undergraduate degree with demonstrated experience considered
- Prior experience in Medical Affairs and Oncology therapy area required
- Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical environment and role of Medical Affairs
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Good understanding of written and oral English mandatory
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 50%)
- Collaborative, team oriented approach

Primary Function
- Represent the affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) and relevant therapeutic area(s).
- Provide medical/scientific expert advice/guidance to key customers.
- Provide medical/scientific input into Medical Affairs strategies and commercial plans.
Responsibilities
- Being an active brand team member to support overall strategy and execution.
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge for assigned product(s)/therapeutic area(s).
- Provide expert medical/scientific advice for assigned products.
- Establish and maintain professional and credible relationships with External Experts.
- Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs.
- Screen relevant literature and develop summaries of key messages.
- Deliver training to sales forces and other departments.
- Design and implement clinical research projects.
- Provide oversight for review, approval and conduct of IIS studies.
- Review and preparation of promotional/non promotional material.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide input into development of product or TA specific strategic medical affairs plans.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PharmB, MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred.
- Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical environment and role of Medical Affairs.
- Prior experience in Medical Affairs and Oncology therapy area required.
- Demonstrated expertise in scientific methods applied to clinical research.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of written and oral English mandatory.
- Collaborative, team oriented approach.
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 50%).
