About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of paper manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Diagnose mechanical failures and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Support production teams in improving machine efficiency, productivity, and safety
- Manage installation, commissioning, and upgrading of mechanical equipment
- Monitor maintenance costs and recommend cost effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and technical service providers
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and performance analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a paper manufacturing or paper converting facility
- Strong knowledge of paper machine sections, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with CMMS maintenance management systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Good command of English
