Role Overview
Darwish Interserve WLL is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for facilities management and large-scale projects across the Gulf region.
The role covers mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance delivery, technical analysis, and health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce technical and maintenance reports and document repair work.
- Inspect premises and equipment and ensure safe working practices across sites.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades.
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedule planned and unplanned work.
- Monitor equipment inventory, order materials, and manage maintenance budgets.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate with QMA contractors.
- Diagnose breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Advise on equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Train and supervise maintenance staff and manage scheduling.
- Verify PPM, repairs, and material requirements in the CAFM system.
- Update as-built drawings, load schedules, and site condition reports.
- Perform electrical and cooling load calculations, site visits, technical analysis, and condition reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Minimum 12 years of facilities management experience, including 8 years on large Gulf projects.
- MMUP/UPDA Grade B registration is required.
- CFM or PMP certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, CAFM systems, and health and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical reporting skills.
- Valid driving license and availability to join immediately or within one month.
Compensation
- The salary is QAR 8,000 to QAR 10,000 per month.

- The work location is in person.
