Support and oversee maintenance management operations within a facilities environment.
The role requires an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background, relevant management experience, and facilities operations knowledge.
Location and Work Setting
- The position is based in Doha, Qatar.
- Work is performed in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure smooth facility functioning.
- Supervise and coordinate engineering and maintenance teams for efficient workflow.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support resource planning, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance projects.
- Prepare technical and operational reports for management review.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing technologies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- UPDA certification is listed as an advantage.
- UPDA Grade B certification is required.
- NFPA 70E certification is required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant maintenance management experience in a compatible facility.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in facilities management within the GCC region.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Compensation and Employment
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is QAR 10,000–QAR 12,000 per month.
