Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Deputy Manager with a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to support and oversee maintenance management operations within our facilities.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid UPDA certification and bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in managing maintenance operations in a compatible facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure smooth facility functioning.
- Supervise and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for efficient workflow.
- Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support in resource planning, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance projects.
- Prepare technical and operational reports for management review.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- UPDA certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant maintenance management experience in a compatible facility.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems and MS Office.
- Experience in facility management within the GCC region.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
