Position Overview
The Energy & Sustainability Manager will lead energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives across facilities.
The position is within facilities management and maintenance and requires advanced energy-management and sustainability credentials with Gulf region experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement energy-efficiency and sustainability programs.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor energy consumption and environmental performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability standards and certifications.
- Support resource planning, budgeting, and cost control for energy projects.
- Prepare technical and sustainability reports for management review.
- Provide day-shift coverage with periodic night audits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is mandatory.
- LEED AP or GSAS O&M certification is required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in the Gulf region.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.
- The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in energy management systems and MS Office is required.
Work Location
- The work location is in person in Doha, Qatar.
