About the Role
Schneider Electric is seeking a Commissioning Supervisor to lead and perform commissioning tests for LV/MV equipment in the MEA region. The role requires 5-8 years of experience, including at least 5 years commissioning LV and/or MV equipment, and fluency in English.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for proper performance of tests and commissioning of equipment supplied under the contract
- Review, validate and implement necessary updates in a comprehensive Commissioning plan
- Make decisions for technical matters related to commissioning of equipment and instruct commissioning engineers
- Notify measurement and test results on documents and have them signed by customer
- Check that measurement instruments and equipment are valid and correctly maintained
- Report non conformances and customer reservations using proper tools/templates
- Note modifications on drawings for conversion to 'As Built' status
- Provide weekly reports including spent hours/costs to Site Works Manager
- Organize and support the Commissioning team; coordinate subcontractors
- Apply safety regulations and ensure compliance with safety procedures
Requirements
- Electrical technician with minimum Bachelor degree
- English fluent (C1)
- 5 to 8 years of experience including at least 5 years commissioning LV and/or MV equipment
- Advanced knowledge of MV/LV equipment, power stations, and commissioning test principles
- Good software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Outlook, testing device software, protection relay setting software
- Based in UAE and able to travel internationally for 50% of working time

Job Overview
- We are looking for Commissioning Supervisor to be part of a Site Team Installed Base Services.
- Responsible for running and documenting equipment commissioning tests on site (SAT Report).
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for proper performance of tests and commissioning of equipment.
- Review, validate and implement updates in a comprehensive Commissioning plan.
- Make decisions for technical matters related to commissioning and instruct commissioning engineers.
- Notify measurement and test results on documents and have them signed by customer.

Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly on technical issues.
- Electrical technician with minimum Bachelor degree.
- English fluent (C1).
- Experience in competitor equipment (ABB, Siemens) is advantage.
- Good software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Outlook, testing device software, protection relay setting software.
- Advanced knowledge of MV/LV equipment, power stations, and commissioning test principles.
- Working on site or in electro mechanical design office minimum 5 months.
- Confirmed experience with Schneider Equipment for MV (Premset, MCSET, PIX), Protection Relays (SEPAM, Micom, Easergy), UPS APC Symmetra and LV Distribution panels (Blokset, Okken, Prisma) is advantage.
- Flexibility & Reliability, Focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player.
- 5 to 8 years of experience including at least 5 years commissioning LV and/or MV equipment.
- Based in UAE and able to travel internationally for 50% of working time in MEA.
