About the Role
Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Site Service Engineer for industries to perform testing, maintenance, and upgrades on Variable Frequency Drives and Soft Starts. The role involves on-site commissioning, technical support, and travel to onshore and offshore sites.

Responsibilities
- Perform testing, maintenance and/or upgrades in VFDs and Soft Starts
- Perform Startup/pre Commissioning and commissioning on Schneider Variable Frequency Drives at site
- Testing, calibration, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on customer drive products
- Provide technical support in product service, product training and applications including on site audits
- Document all required information for each site (technical report and MOS and risk assessments)
- Analyse complex problems in equipment and machinery and interpret maintenance manuals
- Assist in developing design modifications and provides installation support for the modifications
- Develops and implements training courseware and provides training to customers
- Travel for both training and to support job site requirements in other areas
- Work on onshore and offshore sites
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in Installation, testing and Commissioning and maintenance activities for VFD’s and soft starter
- Experience in testing, maintenance and/or upgrades in VFDs and/or Soft Starts
- Must have good communication and interfacing skills
- To work at site (Flexible hours) as per job requirement (onshore / Offshore)
- Qualified and trained for Low voltage drives and drives system
- Qualified or Trained on the schneider electric for ATV 1200/ATV600/ ATV6100, LV drives system
- Knowledge on Windows MS Office / associated Software’s related to the test equipment’s and Relays

Job Summary
- We are looking for a seasoned, experienced professional Site Service Engineer for industries.
Responsibilities
- Experience in testing, maintenance and/or upgrades in VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and/or Soft Starts.
- Experience in servicing Drives and/or Soft Starts with regards to start up and repair preferred.
- Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
- Performance of warranty work and start up service.
- Perform Startup/pre Commissioning and commissioning on Schneider Variable Frequency Drives at site with schneider electric safety and quality guideline.
- Testing, calibration, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on customer drive products.
- Technical support in product service, product training and applications including on site audits. Understudying the drawing for the scheme with IEC/ANSI codes
- As needed; support serviceable Schneider equipment including but not limited to electrical switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, PLCs, HMIs, Drives, power monitoring equipment, protective relays.
- Document all required information for each site (technical report and MOS and risk assessments ).
- Analysing complex problems in equipment and machinery and interpret maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct the fault.
- Assist in the developing design modifications and implements modifications and provides installation support for the modifications.
- Develops and implements training courseware and provides training to customers
Key Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 8years of experience in Installation, testing and Commissioning and maintenance activities for VFD’s and soft starter.
- Must have good communication and interfacing skills.
- To work at site (Flexible hours) as per job requirement. (onshore / Offshore)
- Must have the Digital Experience and fulfilling the KPI of Schneider electric.
- Qualified and tranined for Low voltage drives and drives system
- Qualified or Trained on the schneider electric for ATV 1200/ATV600/ ATV6100, LV drives system
- Knowledge on Windows MS Office / associated Software’s related to the test equipment’s and Relays. LV specialization software’s.
