- Teach Fundamentals of Algebra & Pre Calculus and/or Applied Math (Calculus/Statistics) courses.
- Develop and deliver clear, well organized lessons that build mathematical competence and conceptual understanding.
- Use contemporary teaching methodologies and educational technology to enhance learning.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of course content and delivery.
- Develop lesson plans that foster student interest and align with institutional standards.
- Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and encourages problem solving.
- Provide scaffolding and individualized support to help students overcome mathematical challenges.
- Support students through office hours, academic advising, and pastoral care.
- Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and identify areas for additional support.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students develop proficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate mathematics instruction across the foundation year.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of professional teaching experience at the university preparatory or undergraduate level.
- Strong subject matter expertise in algebra, pre calculus, and calculus.
- Fluency in English (written and oral) to support teaching in an English medium academic environment.
