About the Role
DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is looking for a Material Handler Specialist/Foreman to supervise yard operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating tasks, ensuring safety and quality standards, supervising machinery use, and supporting rigging activities.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate assigned tasks according to plan and priorities.
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate for operations.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Supervise the use of machinery (Crane & Forklift) and equipment (Gears & Lashing Belt).
- Monitor daily operations.
- Report daily operations update to Supervisor.
- Escalate and report to Supervisor in case of any issues.
- Ensure public safety and security.
- Supervise & support riggers with offloading, packing, bundling, picking activities.
- Support SKs with system related tasks (HSE Reports, weekly reports, data entry).
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- High School or diploma
- 2 3 years experience in yard operations
- Basic English – spoken and written
- Time management skills
- Coordination skills
- Knowledge of rigging & slinging
- Equipment handling skills
- Safety awareness
- Awareness of RFID scanners
