What a Typical Workday Looks Like

  • Under the supervision of the regional sales manager, ensure the store runs smoothly and team provides best customer service.
  • Meet overall objectives and maintain corporate standards for customer service, sales, operational performance and visual presentation.
  • Use effective recruiting techniques, provide meaningful training, and use staff development and evaluation tools.

Sales

  • Optimize the performance and profitability of your store.
  • Train team members to master customer service and sales techniques.
  • Analyze sales results and find innovative solutions to boost sales.
  • Schedule employees based on performance and in store traffic.
  • Set sales goals and share them with your sales team.
  • Keep the regional manager informed on store tasks and activities.

Human Resources

  • Mobilize your team and create a positive work environment.
  • Bring vision, mission and brand culture to life.
  • Demonstrate leadership and act as an inspirational role model.
  • Build a high performance team: recruit, prepare and train employees.
  • Plan work schedules and manage absences/lateness.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for the entire store team.
  • Manage labour disputes and apply disciplinary actions as needed.

Marketing And Visual Presentation

  • Master knowledge of all products and technical features.
  • Create an attractive and inviting store based on planograms.
  • Keep track of competitors.
  • Help build a loyal customer base by showcasing brand image.
  • Develop action plan to improve inventory management.
  • Plan incoming orders and set up visual displays.
  • Maintain store and backstore cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with mall administration.

Administration

  • Analyze reports to optimize productivity and sales.
  • Open and close the store with the help of managers.
  • Manage all controllable expenses efficiently.
  • Collaborate with head office on various projects.
  • Respect and apply policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties where needed.
